from Rio de Janeiro-Brazil, Vanessa Nunes later to become Vanessa
Hughes has lived all over the world. Her travels began as a teen
modeling throughout Asia, Europe and United States.
She learned many languages but mastered Portuguese and English. This
lead to Starring roles in both Brazilian and American productions,
including the "Girl from Rio", best international movie at the Hollywood
Film Festival 2001, where she co-starred with Hugh Laurie.
Vanessa has starred in several Brazilian television series for Globo
TV & has hosted her own shows on
